Tobbi Dala was a male Human serving as an Imperial officer during the Galactic Civil War. He held the rank of Captain in the Imperial Navy and was known for his strategic brilliance, though overshadowed by figures like Grand Admiral Thrawn.
Dala commanded a Star Destroyer and was later assigned to a secret Imperial research project, Operation Blacksword. This involved developing advanced weaponry, including superweapons, in the Deep Core. He sought to utilize the power of the Maw Installation, a cluster of black holes.
His ambition and dedication to the Empire often bordered on fanaticism. He believed that new technologies were the key to restoring Imperial dominance. Though resourceful, Dala's plans were ultimately thwarted by the New Republic and the actions of his own subordinates. He perished during the events surrounding the Maw Installation, his research deemed too dangerous to continue.
